Let me tell you about our leather

Some of the best leathers available come from the United States. We like to use Horween Leather, Law Tanning, Wickett & Craig, and S.B. Foot. Horween and Law Tanning are two of the oldest tanneries in the United States and are family owned and operated. Horween has been in business for over 100 years and Law Tanning for over 80 years. Horween still produces the leather that is used for the footballs used by the NFL and for the basketballs used by the NBA. Their quality is undeniable. We used quality materials from thread, glue, and leather to give you a product that you will cherish for years to come.

How does it go from leather to finished product?

It starts with an idea or need. Sometimes you need something but cannot find exactly what you are looking for. You have to make it yourself. Our field notebooks and valets started this way. Whether it be to jot down grocery lists or keep track of errands, our field notebooks will work for you. We start by hand cutting the leather from templates. It is labor intensive but built to last. We glue and hand burnish before sewing our products on our Singer, Cowboy or Juki sewing machine. The process might not produce the most quantity, but we strive to offer a quality product that you will enjoy for years.
